Everything I never said

I don't think you realize just how much I miss you. You're at such a fragile state in your life and I no longer can just hop in my car and come pick you up when you need me. Even though I'm not in arms reach - I'm still here. I'll always be here for you when you need me.

I am so proud of you. You've accomplished so much in the past few years. I do wish I could have been there when you got the keys to your first house. You're such an amazing kid, far cooler than I'll ever be. And I'm so lucky to have you as family.

You are the reason I am where I am today. I have more respect for you then you could ever imagine. And to know that you've finally found someone who sees just how amazing you are makes me very happy.

There are lot of things that I never told you that I should have. However, in spite of everything that has happened, I hope you know how important you are to me. How much I loved you, how much I want to see you happy, how much you deserve to find someone to love just as much as I loved you.
